Interactive Whiteboard
January 1, 2008 — davidmuirThe interactive whiteboard is a very powerful teaching tool. It allows you to work with whole classes, small groups or individuals. It may be used with pre-prepared software in the form of Easiteach or Smartboard materials. There are a large number of sites with Flash activities which may be downloaded and used. Simply using one as a whiteboard has many advantages over an ordinary board.Here is a PDF of Training Activities:

- Hot Maths – Interactive maths online: allows downloads for fractions/area/perimeter (has printable activity sheets to go with them).

- Teaching Measures: Excellent site – covers a wide variety of applied number activities – graded into levels – check out the Time activities in particular. (Can be used on line or purchased – does have ‘EVALUATION COPY’ across the pages, but can be used without too much distraction while you test them out).
